SteelTiger table

We are a family-owned and operated business in Northern Virginia with roots in the military and law enforcement community going back more than 30 years.

SteelTiger was founded by our late father, Retired Master Chief Jerry E. Cunningham who’s military career spanned over 20 years and included several tours in Vietnam.

Our father would frequently visit the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial with hopes of raising awareness about the POW/MIA left behind in Vietnam. He believed these soldiers deserved recognition and to never be forgotten and this was ultimately the driving force behind the purchase of our first engraver. He knew first-hand how much memorial bracelets meant to family and friends, and the healing they could provide.

Since then we have not only shown our support for our military family but we have also collaborated with different police departments across the US.

We first partnered with the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) in 1992 to offer their visitors the opportunity to purchase custom engraved products on-site during Police Week. Because we were so well received we have been invited back to their retail center every May during the week-long event.

In 1997, the original / founding chapter I of the Police Unity Tour asked us to make their iconic blue memorial bands for their first ride ever. Every year thereafter we have had the privilege of working with Chapter 1 as well as many other departments that we connected with along the way.

We know the impact our bracelets can have on surviving family, friends, veterans and our police community. They are more than just an accessory. We wear them to honor the loss of our fallen heroes and ensure their memory lives on forever. We are honored to make them and thrilled to be able to reach more people through our online store.
